The blade has a small tip (ko-kissaki) with a distinctive single plate (ichimai), enhancing precision during use. The steel surface (jigane) showcases a refined small wood grain pattern (ko-itame) with subtle utsuri (shadowy patterns), indicating the skill of the smith.

The hamon is toranba with prominent bright nie, creating a shimmering effect along the blade’s edge, further highlighting its aesthetic and functional excellence.

Mountings (Koshirae):

The koshirae features luxurious fittings that elevate the katana's presentation. The fuchi and kashira (collar and pommel) are crafted from shakudo, an alloy of copper and gold, adorned with intricate nanakoji. The menuki (ornamental grip inlays) are shakudo with exquisite gold accents. The iron tsuba is round-shaped and displays elegant pine tree openwork (matsu-sukashi), symbolizing longevity and strength. The saya (scabbard) is lacquered in deep red with a stylish band wrapping (sanbun-dan-maki), complementing the overall design.
