Blade Features:

The blade is forged in the shinogi-zukuri style, with a medium curvature (chu-zori) and a shallow curve that balances both form and function. The small tip (ko-kissaki) with a rounded end (ko-maru) provides a harmonious finish, contributing to both the blade’s maneuverability and visual appeal. The jigane (steel surface) exhibits a small wood grain pattern (ko-itame), reflecting the subtle beauty of traditional Japanese sword-making.

Hamon:

The hamon is a bright nioi-guchi, marked by a wavy midare pattern that runs along the blade’s edge. This pattern, combined with the lively activity in the blade’s structure, adds depth and character to the overall appearance.

Mountings (Koshirae):

The koshirae features elegant and symbolic fittings. The fuchi and kashira (collar and pommel) are crafted from shakudo, with intricate gold inlays depicting delicate floral motifs. The menuki (ornamental grip inlays) are shakudo with gold accents, showcasing dynamic dragon designs that convey power and protection. The tsuba (handguard) is shakudo with nanakoji, adorned with high-relief gold inlays depicting warriors in battle, capturing the spirit of the samurai. The saya (scabbard) is black lacquered with a refined band wrapping (dan-maki) and features an inrō-style design, reflecting traditional Japanese aesthetics.
